| This house in Wandlitz questions the pseudo-traditional
identity of the single family house and re-appropriates it for the realm of
architecture. It is located on the northern outskirts of Berlin,
in a typical residential area that is gradually being filled with
detached and semi-detached private housing. While conforming to
the planning requirement for a building of “one storey plus
roof”, it stretches spatial conventions as far as is possible
under the circumstances.
