Following extensive studies of minimal buildings, Exilhäuser Architekten have developed an inexpensive prefabricated low-energy house. The envelope consists of a prefab reinforced concrete element with a diameter of 17.5m and a depth of 6m, which is normally used in agriculture as a container for liquid fertilizers. In this case, the issue of prefab building is guided more by the idea that “ready-mades belong to everyone” rather than by stereotypical formalities.
