This is a display case in which pumps and towering clouds blend into one silhouette against the setting sun. If viewed at a diagonal to the fence, the round pump basin and pump equipment appear as the formula H2O. During construction, the bare frame took on the appearance of a polar research station. In a certain way, the logistically efficient layout of the surrounding business park integrates the Cartesian, almost monumental aspects of the water filtration station; at the same time a row of poplars subdivides and dissolves them. The first step out of this Cartesian space was taken with the inauguration of a memorial stone by the Dalai Lama - an honour only very few profane buildings are given.
